Los Fresnos Community Dance
- Updated: November 15, 2019
The first community dance will be at the Community Center (also known as the Senior Citizen Center) at 204 N. Brazil St. on November 22, from 7 until 10 PM. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. Doors open at 6 PM.
50/50 raffle tickets and cold drinks will be on sale. If there is sufficient support, this will become a once a month event. The second dance is being planned for New Year’s Eve.
The music will be provided by Nolan, a one man band. The music is live, not karaoke. Nolan plays the background music through an electronic keyboard using his feet while playing guitar and singing mostly classic country. He also plays some new country and old time rock and roll. He provides music especially for dancing.
There will be lots of two steps, waltzes, and polkas. Nolan is a long time resident of Los Fresnos and music has been a big part of his life. He has played with several bands here in the valley and has opened for Freddy Fender among others. If you like to dance or just listen, come on out for a good time.
No alcohol will be available or permitted.
