Los Fresnos picks up second district win over Brownsville Hanna

The Los Fresnos Falcons took on the Brownsville Hanna Golden Eagles in another round of District 32-6A play. After the tough loss to Weslaco, The Falcons were eager to bounce back.
Los Fresnos defeated Brownsville Hanna in 2021, the Falcons were looking to make it two straight wins over Brownsville Hanna in football. From the start, offense played a key factor as both teams looked to jump ahead early. The Falcon offense played a key factor as Los Fresnos jumped ahead to a 14-7 lead at the half.
Los Fresnos played standout on offense and defense for the rest of the game. Despite the defense displayed by Hanna, The Falcons continued to add on more pressure on offense. Los Fresnos would capture the win 24-21 after Hanna played more efficiently on offense.
With the win, Los Fresnos improved to 6-2 overall, 2-1 in District play. With two more games to go in the regular season, Los Fresnos will take on San Benito then host Harlingen High in the District 32-6A Finale.
