Ebanks-Texada, Wright Sign Basketball Letters of Intent

Los Frensos High School seniors Chanel Ebanks-Texada and Danielle Wright signed Letters of Intent to continue their basketball careers in NCAA Division III schools in a ceremony Friday morning at the LFHS Gymnasium.
Ebanks-Texada signed with The University of Texas at Dallas, while Wright signed with Austin College or nearby Sherman. Both schools are members of NCAA Division III in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
The friends will find themselves on opposite sides of the basketball court when their schools play one another in college basketball games.
Three members of the Lady Falcons’ basketball team have now signed Letters of Intent. Earlier in May, center Ivanna Mendoza signed to continue her career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University.
