Three LFHS Senior Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Three Los Fresnos High School seniors signed Letters of Intent to continue their athletic careers in college during separate signing ceremonies Tuesday afternoon at the LFHS Gymnasium.
Two of the them will play at Graceland University (Iowa), while the other will go to Clarendon College, located in Clarendon, Texas.
Stephanie Shears, a member of the Lady Falcons’ volleyball team, will play at the junior college located near Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle. She is the second member of the volleyball team to sign a letter to play collegiate volleyball. Earlier, Deborah Lozano signed to play volleyball at The University of Texas at Brownsville.
Justin Taylor, a member of the Falcons’ baseball team, signed to play at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa. He joins teammate Nick Scoville, who also signed with Graceland in April. Graceland is a member of the NAIA.
Ariana “Pinky” Castillo, a member of the Lady Falcons’ soccer team, also signed to play at Graceland. She is the second soccer player to sign, joining Paloma Bermudez, who signed to play at Texas College, a member of the NAIA.
