Local Business Owner Honored For Service
- Updated: December 9, 2022

Ms. Amalia Saldivar, owner of the Flower Gallery in Los Fresnos, was honored for her support of the annual Heart Gallery. For eighteen (18) years, Amalia has donated a beautiful flower centerpiece to the Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville for the opening event every November. She explains she does this because she believes in giving back to the community. Visit the Flower Gallery, established in 1998, at 305 N. Arroyo Blvd in Los Fresnos, Texas. The Heart Gallery helps children in foster care find forever, adoptive homes. With support from business owners like Amalia, this has been a successful program. The plaque of appreciation was presented by Dr. Mary Curtis, the Chair of the Heart Gallery committee for the Rotary Club of Historic Brownsville.
