Los Fresnos defeats Harlingen to wrap up 32-6A Play

The Los Fresnos Lady Falcons played the Harlingen Lady Cardinals in the 32-6A finale.
The second and final meeting between the two teams in district play. Last meeting on March 31, Los Fresnos picked up a 4-2 victory in a battle over The Lady Cardinals.
Los Fresnos, thanks to efficient hitting and solid defense was able to get the bats hot early. While picking up hits and runs, Los Fresnos at the same time what Harlingen was able to do at the plate.
With the win, Los Fresnos sits as the three seed with a district record of 7-3 to wrap up 32-6A. With some play in and seeding games still set to determine the final four into the 6A playoffs. The Los Fresnos Lady Falcons may finish either second or third, depending on outcomes.
Last season, the Lady Falcons finished as the two seed behind San Benito. Los Fresnos would go on to wrap up the season with a loss to San Antonio O’ Connor. This season, the Lady Falcons are set to make a playoff push this postseason.
