Los Fresnos Interact Facebook group posted on April 4, “2 Los Fresnos Interact Club members and Rotary Club of Los Fresnos representatives had the opportunity to present their Lightning Talk and get pinned by Lauren Nicole Fields, Programs for Young Leaders Coordinator for Rotary International Headquarters.
They had the pleasure to present to Former US Congressman Mr. Brian Baird founder and chair of the National Museum and Center for Service these students did an amazing job presenting. The National Youth Leadership Council Topic was “How a strong Rotary and Interact Partnership is beneficial To all concerned”.

They also helped Dr. Gomez-Ventura diagnose a patient in Honduras with an earache while at the conference. They are using technology like Zoom and virtual medical equipment to read the diagnostics of patients. GlobalBrigades.org provides equipment so that Drs can help when they can’t send them. Global Brigades have a medical business, stem fields, and public service among other fields available.
