Los Fresnos improves to 8-0 in District

Looking to continue unbeaten, Los Fresnos improved to 8-0 in 32-6A competition. So Far this season, Rene Morales’ Ball Club has been highly efficient throughout 32-6A competition in the 2023 Campaign. Continuing the undefeated streak that dates back to the 2022 District Season, The Falcons have taken on opponents of all kinds in 32-6A.
Beginning District Play against the Rivera Raiders, Los Fresnos picked up a sweep over the Raiders winning 2-0 in game one, and 1-0 in game two. Up next was District Rival Weslaco, and over the years, Los Fresnos and Weslaco have had some battles on the diamond. Game one saw The Falcons win 9-5 then win in game two 4-2.
The Hanna Golden Eagles were next on the list and Los Fresnos again dominated the series, winning in game one 11-0 and in game two 16-0. Los Fresnos then dispatched San Benito 6-3 in game one and 11-1 in game two.
To wrap up the regular season, Los Fresnos will take on Harlingen. Los Fresnos looks to go 10-0 to capture their second straight undefeated District Title.
