Two months into the 2023 Major League Baseball Season has been full of surprises. A lot of unexpected scenarios have taken place, such as the Tampa Bay Rays being the best team in the league. Another surprise has to be the Texas Rangers, who have been on a roll in the young 2023 season.
Sitting at 35-20 with a win percentage of .636, the Rangers have dominantly controlled the American League West. After a lot of big spending in the last two seasons, the Rangers have certainly had quite the rebuilding process.
A change of staff also has contributed to the Rangers success. Texas is now led by skipper Bruce Bochy, who is famously known for leading the San Francisco Giants to three World Series Championships in 2010, 2012, and 2014.
On the field, Texas has been led by the dominant performances of Marcus Semien, Jonah Heim, Ezekiel Duran, Josh Smith, Josh Jung, Adolis Garcia, Martin Perez, Corey Seager Jon Gray, Jacob DeGrom, and Bubba Thompson.
Texas looks to continue its success in the AL West.
