Nuggets knock off Miami in five, Capture first NBA Title

The Denver Nuggets have made history, knocking off the Miami Heat in five games in the 2023 NBA Finals. After what was a even series with both teams going 1-1 to begin the series.
Denver soon Dominated the rest of the finals thanks to the efforts of the duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, who both have had the odds stacked against them.
After allowing the Heat to win in game two, the Nuggets took control and dominated the rest of the series, winning in Game three (109-94), Game Four (108-95) and finally in Game Five (94-89)
Jokic, who led the way offensively and defensively played stellar as the big man for the Nuggets. His Performance in the 2023 Finals earned him 2023 NBA Finals MVP.
Denver, who appeared in their first NBA Finals, was put to the test. Despite winning the series 4-1, the Heat certainly didn’t make it easy. Although being led by Murray and Jokic, Miami was able to counter it with the trio of Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, and Kyle Lowry.
Denver finishes the season with a record of 53-29 and as the one seed in the Western Conference.
