By Ruben Rodriguez
The 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup is set to take the global stage as 32 Nations are ready to contest and battle for the highest prize in Women’s Football.
Of the 32 teams competing, one has no bigger target on their back than Team USA. The United States, who are the most storied and successful Women’s International Soccer team. Holding a record four World Cup Titles, the USA won the last two World Cups in Canada 2015 and France 2019.
This year, the World Cup takes place down under as Australia and New Zealand will Co-Host the 2023 tournament.
Team USA is led by the Veteran Duo of Megan Rapinoe and Alex Morgan. Complimenting the duo is the Alyssa Thompson. The youngest member of the team at 18 years old, Thompson looks to join the ranks and go down the history books in US Women’s Soccer History.
Other Favorites to lookout for in the 2023 Tournament include France, Spain, Germany, England, Japan and host Australia.
The 2023 Women’s World Cup will take place from July 20 to August 20.
