By Ruben Rodriguez
Los Fresnos News
The Los Fresnos Lady Falcons Volleyball team have taken the court and have been rolling throughout Non-District Play.
After falling in the Bi-District Round in 2022, the Lady Falcons were looking to begin the road back to the post season.
After losing the season opener to PSJA High, the Lady Falcons came back and won three straight games over Harlingen South, Bastrop, and Edinburg Vela.
Los Fresnos would suffer their second loss of the season to McHi before bouncing back with two wins over Brownsville Veterans Memorial and PSJA Southwest.
Los Fresnos then once again fell to McHi. Another win against Edinburg Vela came before a second loss to PSJA High. Los Fresnos would then go on a six game win streak. The six victories included Brownsville Veterans Memorial, McAllen Rowe, Galena Park, Cypress Falls, Spring, and Houston NCHS.
The Lady Falcons would drop two games to Jersey Village and once again PSJA High before defeating Donna.
The Lady Falcons will have three more non-district matchups before beginning 32-6A play against Brownsville Rivera on September 19.
