Los Fresnos News
After a Bye Week, the Los Fresnos Falcons were ready to go back to work. Returning to action this week was a lot more bigger as Week 7 marked the start to 32-6A play. Due up for the Falcons were the Brownsville River Raiders, who were coming off a win over Edinburg Economedes prior to the BYE Week.
The first quarter was slow for both offenses as the Falcons were able to score one touchdown, while the Raiders were scoreless to keep it a 7-0 lead for Los Fresnos heading into the second quarter. The Falcons came out alot more productive as Los Fresnos was able to score more touchdowns to lead 21-3 at the half.
The Falcon offense continued their dominance in the third quarter, putting up three touchdowns in the third quarter and shut down the Raider offense for the rest of the quarter, only limiting one touchdown by Rivera. One more touchdown for the Falcons in the fourth ended the game as Los Fresnos won 49-10.
Los Fresnos will host the Weslaco Panthers as they attempt to go 2-0 in 32-6A
