Sun Bae Taekwondo Academy Students Compete in the A.M.T.A Championships

On September 16th the Sun Bae Taekwondo Academy participated in the 21st annual A.M.T.A (American Mexican Taekwondo Association) International Taekwondo Championship in Brownsville. For many, this was the first time attending a tournament which has a long and respected history behind it.
This year there were over 300 competitors. This was the fifth year that Sun Bae participated in the tournament and found that everything went very smoothly with no problems this year. The participants involved were Kathy Morua, Samuel Sauceda, Olivia Chambers, Kaylee Morua, Adaiah Alaniz, Amelia Gonzalez, Samantha Sauceda, Kenleigh Chambers, Miguel Nieto and Lenon Garcia.

This year the team took home 9/10 trophies. Master Agmed Gonzalez and the team are very proud of their academy’s effort in this year’s tournament.
