The Los Fresnos CISD Art department showcased their students’ creativity which was on display last week on Friday, April 12, 2024. This will be the 3rd annual student art expo and will feature over 400 unique pieces of art from secondary campus students that were on display at the Los Fresno CISD Professional Learning Center.
The partnership between the district and the Museum of Fine Art is behind this unique opportunity in which students worked for months to create their amazing one-of-a-kind artwork.
The artistic skills of the Los Fresnos CISD students were celebrated this past Friday at this event. Each student who participated should be proud of the time and dedication that they put into these pieces and everyone in attendance was truly amazed by the vision and creativity on display.
This year artwork that will be featured includes ceramics, and mixed media including oil, acrylics, and pastels all created by Los Fresnos very own hometown fine and visual arts students from the following campuses (Los Cuates Middle School, Liberty Memorial Middle School, Resaca Middle School, Los Fresnos United and Los Fresnos High School).
There was a great turnout this year as the public and community of Los Fresnos came out to show their support and love.
The 3rd annual Art Exposition was held at the Los Fresnos CISD Professional Learning Center which was the former Los Cuates Middle School which has been relocated. It was held last week on, April 12, 2024, from 5:30-7:30.
