Los Fresnos CISD Upcoming School Events

The staff of Los Fresnos CISD is excited to welcome its students back to campus on Monday, August 12, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year. The district and all campuses are prepared to help you get ready for the upcoming school year.
Here are the upcoming events:
- The elementary school “Meet the Teacher Round-Up” will take place on Friday, August 9, from 2 to 4 p.m. Contact your campus for detailed information.
- Middle school “Meet the Teacher Night” will be held on Thursday, August 6. The 6th grade will meet from 3 to 4 p.m., the 7th grade from 4 to 5 p.m., and the 8th grade from 5 to 6 p.m.
- Los Fresnos United Freshmen can visit the ninth-grade campus on Wednesday, July 31 (A 8:30-11:30 am and M-Z from 1–4 pm). Sophomores can pick up their schedule on Thursday, August 1 (A-L 8:30–11:30 am and M-Z from 1–4 pm).
- Los Fresnos High School Junior and Senior schedule pick up will be on August 8 from 9 am.
Additionally, the district will host “Back to School” nights the first week of September. Here are the dates and times:
- Tuesday, September 3, All middle schools from 6–7:30 pm;
- Wednesday, September 4, Los Fresnos United from 5:30-7 pm;
- Wednesday, September 4, Los Fresnos High School from 6-7:30 pm;
- Thursday, September 5, all elementary schools from 6-7:30 pm.
On Thursday, August 1, the Los Fresnos CISD Family Engagement, Community, and Stakeholders will host a Back-to-School Community and Safety Fair at Los Fresnos High School from 6 to 8 p.m. Uniforms, school supplies, backpacks, haircuts, immunizations, and community resources will be available while supplies last.
