Another weekend in non-district can only mean one thing, tournaments. The Los Fresnos Lady Falcons took part in another tournament this weekend and here is how it went.
The Lady Falcons opened up tournament play against Edinburg Economedes. The Lady Falcons played with one word in mind, dominance. The Lady Falcons would control the game and walk away with a 64-19 win over Economedes.
In game two, the Lady Falcons took on Rio Hondo High School. Unfortunately, the tables were turned as Los Fresnos would fall behind to the Lady Bobcats, who did not let up. In game three, the Lady Falcons took on the Lady Lobos of La Joya Palmview. Despite a back and forth battle, the Lady Falcons would fall due to a late surge by the Lady Lobos. Palmview would win 58-41.
The Lady Falcons would finish tournament play with a 1-2 record. The Falcons fall to 8-11 on the season. Non-district play will continue until January 7, 2025 as 32-6A play will begin that day.
