Danielson Recipient of Head of Class Award
- Updated: February 20, 2015
Los Fresnos High School Senior Keegan Danielson was selected as one of six students for the Border Patrol Head of the Class Award in a ceremony Wednesday, January 21st.
The Head of the Class is a monthly award to recognize high-achieving seniors at high schools throughout the Rio Grande Valley. The program provides an opportunity to showcase students who are working hard to further their education, many of whom are first-generation college students who also volunteer a significant amount of time to their communities.
The award has been in existence for more than 18 years in RGV Sector and brings together local businesses as partners to highlight and recognize the efforts of students who are truly role models for their peers.
The ceremony honors students who have displayed excellence in school and each student was selected by their school for good grades, attendance and staying out of trouble.
Danielson is ranked in the Top 5 percent of the LFHS Clas of 2015.
Other students honored Wednesday were from Cameron and Starr counties.
