Lady Falcons Take Down San Benito for Series Sweep

LOS FRESNOS-The Lady Falcons got the second half of district play on the right foot.
On Tuesday, Los Fresnos beat San Benito in four sets, (20-25,25-22,25-20,28-26)
With the win and a Harlingen loss, the Lady Falcons and Lady Cards are tied for first place in 32-6A with 7-1 records.
Behind them is a surging Brownsville Rivera team who is 6-2 and fresh off their wild win in five sets over Harlingen.
The Lady Falcons will now have a date with Donna North and will then meet Brownsville Rivera. Their key bout with Harlingen will be Oct. 19 at home.
“It is exciting,” said Los Fresnos head coach Anissa Lucio. We have worked for this moment for a very long time. We know every game will be tough but we are ready.”
