Lady Falcons get big win

Continuing in Non-District and after competing in the BISD Basketball Tournament, the Los Fresnos Lady Falcons faced off against an plethora of out of valley opponents,
Looking to prepare for 32-6A play in January, the Lady Falcons took part in the Huntington Basketball tournament then faced off against The Dayton Lady Broncos of District 16-5A Region 2.
Day one of the tournament saw the Lady Falcons take on Pineywoods Community Academy to open up their action. The Lady Falcons came up short to PCA and fell 42-28. Los Fresnos then took on TOHS and captured a 68-25 win.
Day two saw Los Fresnos take on the Big Sandy Lady Wlidcats, out of Dallardsville, Texas. In a close knit matchup, Los Fresnos fell to the Lady Wildcats 41-37. To wrap up tournament action, Los Fresnos faced off against the Livingston Lions and picked up a massive 50-17 win to end the tournament.
Post Tournament, Los Fresnos faced off against the Dayton Lady Broncos. In what started off as a close game, both teams battled out as Los Fresnos prevailed in the end 62-44.
Finishing 2-2 in tournament play and a big win over a North Texas foe, the Lady Falcons are getting in gear and preparing for a tough 32-6A schedule in January.
