The Lady Falcons have successfully gone through the gauntlet in non-district action.
After tournaments, tri-matches and everything in between, the Lady Falcons will open up district against San Benito. So let’s take a look back at non-district for the lady Falcons.
A solid report, the Lady Falcons finished non-district action with a 16-9 record. The Lady Falcons began 2024 with two wins over PSJA and Brownsville Rivera. The Lady Falcons then found themselves in a slump, losing four of their next five games. The Lady Falcons dropped games to McHi, McAllen Memorial and Edinburg Vela.
The Lady Falcons then bounced back in a huge way, by going a six game winning streak, defeating big times like McAllen Memorial, McHi, Edinburg, Brownsville Lopez, and Edinburg.
Following their streak, McHi returned the favor and stopped the Lady Falcons’ streak. The Lady Falcons then would go on to win seven of their next 12 games. The Lady Falcons continued on and have recently swept both Port Isabel and Edinburg North.
The Lady Falcons are now set to clash against San Benito, Brownsville Veterans, Harlingen and Brownsville Hanna to open up district action.
