Los Fresnos News
The 2024-25 District 32-6A portion of the 2024 season is underway. The Lady Falcons of Los Fresnos have began district and are done with a third of round one. So let’s see how the Lady Falcons fair through 32-6A.
A 12-12 record heading into district, the Lady Falcons were looking to start 32-6A play on the right track against San Benito. During the 2023-24 Campaign, the Lady Falcons split the season series against San Benito. A back and forth battle that came down to the wire, ultimately came down to be decided by three points. The Lady Falcons thanks to a late surge, were able to capture the win 50-47.
Now 1-0, the Lady Falcons turned attention to Brownsville Veterans Memorial. The Lady Chargers, who were coming off a loss to Harlingen, were hungry for their first district win. The first quarter saw dominance from Brownsville Veterans, who put up a 25 point performance, all while only limiting Los Fresnos to just 4 points. While the Lady Falcons were able to put up more points and out score the Lady Chargers in two quarters, Brownsville Veterans still held on to the lead and won 57-36.
At 1-1 in 32-6A, the Lady Falcons will continue district action against Harlingen, then Brownsville Hanna to wrap up the first half of 32-6A Play.
