Falcons 10-0 to Begin 2025 Season

Los Fresnos News
As Soccer season continues to go deeper into district play, two more spring sports continue in their young season. One of those sports is Baseball.
The Los Fresnos Falcons Baseball Team has officially began 2025 action, and they certainly wasted no time. Having been a powerhouse in RGV Baseball for the past few seasons, the Falcons have captured the District 32-6A title for the last three consecutive seasons (2022, 2023 and 2024).
So is 2025 any different? Well by the way season has started, Los Fresnos is definitely making a bid for a fourth straight District Championship. So here is what we have seen from the Falcons in 2025.
The first three games for Los Fresnos were big performances, knocking off Laredo United South (1-0), PSJA Memorial (12-0), and Edinburg Economedes (9-0).
Heading into the last weekend of February, the Falcons took part in the CCCA Baseball Tournament. The Falcons opened up Day one with two wins, once again over United South 7-2, and then over Brenham 2-0.
In Day 2, the Falcons took on two big teams in the Coastal Bend, knocking off CC Ray 14-4, then routing Corpus Christi Miller 15-0.
4-0 heading into Championship Saturday, the Falcons were slated against two tough teams from the Coastal Bend. In the Semi-Finals, the Falcons faced off against CC Veterans Memorial. In a defensive game, the Falcons were able to knock off the Eagles 5-0.
Heading into the championship game, the Falcons faced off against Coastal Bend Powerhouse Corpus Christi London. However, the Falcons were able to play dominantly with ease, defeating London to capture the Tournament championship.
The Falcons are now 10-0 as they continue down a lengthy Non-District schedule. 32-6A action will begin against San Benito March 28.
