Get Ready for an Unforgettable Summer Experience, Brownsville! The Mobile Recreation Unit (MRU) is Coming to Your Neighborhood!

Join the City of Brownsville’s Mobile Recreation Unit as they kick off an exciting season of summer activities. The first stop was on Friday, July 11th, at Gonzalez Park, located at 34 Tony Gonzalez Drive. Everyone had fun as we threw the ultimate summer block party!

Why celebrate? July is Parks and Recreation Month, and what better way to honor it than by bringing our community together for an evening filled with laughter, joy, and engaging activities—all completely FREE of charge! Experience the thrill of outdoor games, slide down our gigantic inflatable waterslide, and enjoy complimentary refreshments (while supplies last) at your local park!

Mark Your Calendars! The Mobile Recreation Unit will be visiting various parks throughout Brownsville on July 18th, August 1st, and August 8th. Be sure to check the flyer for specific locations and additional details.
