Los Fresnos opens the 2022 High School Football Season with a win

The Long awaited 2022, Texas High School Season is officially underway, and the Los Fresnos Falcons kicked off the regular season on a high note. Week one was kicked off on a friday night on the road against 16-5A D1’s Weslaco East Wildcats.
Fast Offense was the opening factor for the Falcons as Los Fresnos scored first to lead 7-0. However, solid defense by The Falcons and Wildcats kept the game scoreless for the rest of the first half. Third quarter, both Weslaco East and Los Fresnos struck first, as both teams ended up scoring a touchdown to make it 14-7 at the half.
Heading into the fourth quarter, the Falcons took control on both sides of the ball, shutting down the Wildcats offense with solid defense. Two more touchdowns were tacked on by the Falcon’s offense, to win the game 28-7.
