Annual Elementary Academic Event

LFCISD
The Los Fresnos CISD hosted the annual Elementary Academic Event on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Resaca Middle School campus.
Villareal Elementary School won the EAE Sweepstakes trophy with a total of 173 points.
Palmer-Laakso Elementary took second place with 168 points and Rancho Verde Elementary took third with 133points.
The EAE consists of second to fifth grade students from the nine district elementary schools. Students spent months preparing with their campus academic coaches leading up to EAE.
The students took part in 18 events including Science, Mathematics, Number Sense, Creative Writing, Ready Writing, and Oral Reading in English and Spanish.
