Jose Luis “Joe” Ortiz, 55 of San Antonio, Texas entered into eternal rest at his residence on December 6, 2018 unexpectedly but in the presence of his family and the holy spirit.
Joe was a former resident of Los Fresnos, Texas who was currently residing in Converse, Texas.
His family humbly expressed that Joe was a Reborn Christian Man and was a proud member of The Tribe of Judah
Motorcycle Ministry and as Joe would say every morning, “RIDE SAFE, PRAY HARD”.
The schedule is as follows: Viewing and visitation will begin from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm along with a Prayer Service in his honor at 7:00 pm in care of Pastor Ricardo De La Rosa on Sunday, December 9, 2018. Viewing will resume on
Monday, December 10, 2018 as of 9:00 am for a 2:30 pm funeral mass at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park in Brownsville, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his Wife: Ana B. Ortiz, Son: Jose Luis Ortiz, Jr., Daughter: Analysia Ortiz, 2 Siblings: Norma (Tom) Gutierrez, Carlos (Veronica) Ortiz, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Joe was preceded in death by his Parents: Eusebio and Alicia Ortiz.
Serving as his Honorary Pall Bearer will be his son, J.J. Ortiz and his Pall Bearers will be: Edgar Abrego, Carlos Ortiz, II, Joel Gonzalez, Alfonso Gonzalez, Jr., Alex Ortiz, and Ernesto Abrego. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional guidance of Angel Lucy’s Funeral Home, 1005 S. Arroyo Boulevard, Los Fresnos, Texas 78566 (956) 254-2099.
